Ingredients
1 pack of Turkey Tenderloins (approximately 16 ounces)
½ stick of salted butter
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup of Cajun Garlic Seasoning
½ cup of diced red onions diced
¼ cup of green onions or scallions diced
Approximated ½ bunch of cilantro chopped fine
2 cups of cooked white or brown rice
1 real lime squeezed
Directions
Clean and wash turkey thoroughly. As a substitute you may use chicken.
In a medium or large skillet turn heat to low on stove.
Combine butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, allow heat to remain on low.
Seasoned turkey tenderloins with Cajun Garlic Seasoning by spreading seasoning evenly. It may appear that the seasoning is too heavy on turkey; but no worries, some of the seasoning will rub off in the butter and olive oil mixture to create your sauce.
Turn heat to medium and place turkey in skillet. Allow turkey to sear on one side for 2 minutes, then turn heat back to low for an additional 3 minutes. Flip turkey over on other side and allow to cook for 3 minutes. At this point you can test one of the turkey tenderloins for your eating preference by lightly cutting in the middle. If more cooking time is needed, then cook to desired results.
